Valtos and Sarakiniko Trail

Enjoy this 7.2-km point-to-point trail near Párga, Epirus. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 2 h 17 min to complete. This is a popular trail for hiking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day.

Valtos and Sarakiniko Trail  Starting from the settlement Chrysogiali, west of Parga, the route follows the provincial road on the slopes of the green coastal hills, almost parallel to the coastline. The path, at 2/3 of the route, descends to the chapel of Agios Sostis on the beach and returns to the normal course to reach Sarakiniko and its beach. The combination of the verdant hills with the sea offers a unique experience.
